solid titanium engine?

i know that it isn't practical and would cost too much, but it is possible for the engine of a car to be made of nothing but titanium? if it was professionally done, wouldn't that be the most efficient engine, i don't see how they could put any kind of "cap" on the horsepower rating for this engine, fully built ready for nitro-methane with like 100 psi from a supercharger, is this possible? could the engine handle that kind of pressure? what if it was a diesel engine?
