what do i need to look after a pony?

i have got a headcoller, lead rope, haynet, plating bands, grooming kit, feed scopes, and the stbles provide all the bedding and feed. is there anything ive missed out?

I've had my horse for 6 years now and it seems everytime I get something for him he always needs something else. I'm sure you'll figure out things as the time goes on. Keep his hooves healthy. Get some Kopertox, hoof moisturizer, fly spray (if you live in a warm climate and you have bugs), things like that. Do you live in a climate changing area? If so, you will need a winter blanket, mid weight sheet, I like to have an Irish knit to wick away water after I give my horse a bath. Also, my horse never fails to have cuts so have some cream like Furazone it's basically an anti-biotic cream. Definately the extra halter and lead rope. It's nice to have a lunge line and whip. I have a stall guard for my horse so I can open the door and let him pop his head out for a while when I'm there doing other things. My horse LOVES Lickits. They are these cylinder shaped treats that hang from a rope atttached to the ceiling and it's like a salt lick but flavored and it has electrolytes and other good stuff. Or a salt lick works fine, too. There's a million little things you'll get along time, but good luck and just ask around your barn for tips.

Oh and I always have a little emergency contact file on my horses stall with my name and ways to get ahold of me and my horse's information just in case something should happen...
