titanium vs surgical steel piercings in black?

can anybody tell me what the difference between anodized Black Titanium and black pvd coated surgical steel is?
titanium is better, right? but what's the difference in the black coatings?
what's the difference between anodized black and pvd black? is it the same thing?

i usually get black pvd coated surgical steel piercings but after a couple of months the black wears away revealing a dark grey color. i like my piercings to be REALLY black, so what's best for me? thank you xx

Titanium is the "better" material for piercings, but both pvd coated surgical steel and anodized titanium will fade after some time.
